(Basic defenses against a
punch attack)

Redirect
the punch before moving toward your opponent. Step to 11 with the left and
right vertical punch to the ribs. Grab you opponents lapel and pull him downward
to immobilize him as you shuffle step behind him, left inverted punch to the
kidney and left inverted punch to the base of the skull.
Switch you grip to his collar or hair and his
right arm, left kick to the calf and pull him down and back to the ground, drop
your right knee on his ribs and maintain your hold on his right arm, left punch
to the ear, right heel kick to the base of the head as you cross step away and
cover.
